2015
Solo exhibition with guest artist Nikolai Nekh
Installation; various components; photographs, found objects, and a book.
I am The Size of What I see explored the limits of our ability to relate to something much larger than us – the age of a fossil, or outer space. The overwhelming sense of amazement and the ever-shrinking space for our dreaming come with it. I AM THE SIZE OF WHAT I SEE is also about the ambiguities that come with our age: the light our cities emanate prevents us from seeing the stars; we turn to old astronomical books for a reminiscence of the “real” sky.
